"Being constantly hungry can make a person desperate. These three authors explore what horrors could transpire in a society where everyone is hungry all the time—an all too real possibility given the climate crisis the world is grappling with. Although some of the gruesome things that happen in these three novellas might make some readers lose their appetites, it's all done with the best intentions: to benefit the Houston Food Bank."

- Bev Vincent, author of Stephen King: A Complete Exploration of His Work, Life, and Influences
